Hi jayson_s19,

there is not really a way to check if your psp is in a good condition.
all you can do is just use your PSP and see if there are anything wrong your self.

Example.

1. Is it slow?
2. does the psp respond quick?

and things like that.

if everything runs fine then that means your psp IS in good condition.

How much money will you get when you sell it???

Hi !
It will depend on the generation and the condition of your PSP !

-1000 PSPs : around $60
-2000 PSPs : around $75
-3000 PSPs : around $100

These are average prices that I saw on ebay. You might be interested in selling your PSP on ebay or to just look at the prices to get a good idea of what your PSP is worth !

Good luck :)

My psp can't detect my memory stick 8gb

8GB is not support for PSP Phat (3.40oe-a) which it appears that you have. To be able to use a 8GB memorystick you must update your firmware to 3.90m33+ (click on firmware link, download to PSP)
8gb is now compatible in 3.90 even if your psp is Phat\Slim

I hope this helps and good luck

Computer can't detect my psp

If you know someone who has a USB data cable for PSP, please borrow and test it with your PSP. USB cables has 4 wires, 2 for power (+5V and GRD) and 2 for data (+ and -). With PSP, the power and data wires are separated and has different input on the PSP, if 1 of the data wires is damaged, it will look like the cable is ok but it couldn't transmit and receive data properly. In your case, I think your PSP is can transmit but couldn't receive a reply from your PC.

Let me know if the borrowed PSP USB cable don't work.

Psp dosnt come on

There is a good chance your PSP is bricked, especially if you tried to upgrade or downgrade your firmware recently. Bricked means: the hardware is still in good shape but the firmware fails to boot. That problem can be removed by using "Pandora's Battery", if you just google around you will find out how to do it, there are psp repair services that do it for you as well. Basically the idea is to get the PSP into a condition which will allow you to rewrite the firmware.
