Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I have a canon imageprograf W8400. It is at factory settings. I print out of Adobe photoshop 6. I print onto matte canvas. Why are the dark/black sections on photos being printed as blue?

    Hi ,

May thanks, by re-loading my driver the printing of black into blue has resolved itself.

But I am still not sure if I am getting the colour balance correct.

Which print space, profile would you recommend I use?

Which printing preference should I use - default or photo from (digital camera/scanner)

Which image mode in photoshop should I use? working RGB or CMYK?

    Thanks

    Julie

Hi,

According to your problem first reinstall the driver of your printer.

preset your printer. change your paper settings in photo printing. you can adjust the color management of your printer. Go to the printer preferences and change the page setup and printing quality. If it doesn't solve your problem then clear the printing head and align the cartridges. After doing the the job reboot the printer and system both. Finally if you don't get any solution then change the cartridges mainly the black cartridge. Use good quality and dry paper for printing.

    Hi,
Have you select the image printing module to install While installing the driver? Reset the colour management setup. You should choose the photo printing preferences simply. Select the exact resolution which will improve your photo quality from max resolution by changing with a copy of print. Photo printing with image sharpening is recomended.
Cartridge allignment and head cleaning may also need. Make sure cartridges are OK. In photoshop image mode is depend on your photo quality, How much the photo need improvement.

Step by step how to use adobe photoshop

First Open Adobe Photoshop CS3
Go to the top left and click on "File"
Create New.....
Make a new canvas and the "Tools Bar" will be on the left and you will find the "Brush Tool" and many other tools here. You will use this to make random things or edit photos.
To put a photo on the Canvas which is the white, or black and white checkered board thing in the middle of the screen, all you need to do is drag a photo onto it or go to File, Import, and it should say either Picture or Image or something of that sort. Then it will appear on the canvas.
If you need any editing tips just ask :)

Reactions like this are usually because the printer is set to a different port than what your software is spooling to. Especially if the connection is via USB and in Vista.

Ink will not dry

Without having to apply a varnish, the best way is to use frog juice which is a spray which come as both matt or gloss and gives the same eefects as a varnish but isnt noticable with the matt. This reduces the solid black areas from smudging.
