Question about Whirlpool Heating & Cooling
There is a class action lawsuit against whirlpoof for their "flame lock" water heaters. (in several states). All their support web pages are blank and their phone support operators are in India (and seem to be named Biff or Muffy or some such rubbish..they think it makes them more acceptible than Ajay or Ravi) Either way..the solution is simple...just do what I am doing..(mine is 8 months old)
1. shut off the gas
2. disconnect the water fittings
3. drain the tank
4. Use a hand truck to remove the tank
5. put it on the trash
6. buy something else..ANYTHING else..than a whirlpool water heater.
