Question about Power Up TC3J-4030 P ATX Mid-Tower Case

1 Answer

Won't turn on or power up. At first I thought maybe my CPU had died, so I replaced that and it took 2-3 attempts to actually get the unit to power up. I suspect that maybe my power supply is toast. Has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like there is a problem with the image compression board. Send it to Nikon - replacing the board requires programming with Nikon's proprietary program.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

I Agree, I don't think it is any other board, I believe the CCU (central control unit) has gone bad as it keeps on stopping mid cycle. If it was the Motor Control Board (MCU) then the washer motor should have been causing problems (which isn't the case) so replacement of CCU will be a great option. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

It is possible the thermal fuse located in the control panel has blown.
See item 5 in this diagram. You could attempt to replace it.

make sure the power is disconnected when you are working on the dishwasher.

Hope this helps.

The whole unit switches off after about 30 minutes. I thought it could be heating up and cleaned the fan (externally), put it on 1/2 inch brackets to ensure air circulation, changed to a different...

If you suspect thermal issues maybe you could verify that the unit actually feels hot when it dies. If not, it's some other cause.

Is the now-clean fan working?

I'm sure the manual of this unnamed component might give some clues as well as what the proper physical clearance around the unit should be maintained.

Took my bike out, WR450f 07 model, got to the shop and had something to eat, came out and bike wouldn't go, headlight globe was blown, actually smashed, was no spark so replaced spark plug and checked...

My thoughts...Light globes are made to withstand voltages of less than 16 volts. So if you are finding your headlight globe burnt out, it's because the system voltage has exceeded this. Have your voltage regulator replaced which will remedy the problem. Over voltage will have an effect on other electronic components such as the CDI unit and wreck your battery too.

Toshiba Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5750 died

Hello
Is not necessary to be the CPU,maybe is the power adapter, motherboard or CPU.
First check your power adapter, try another one from a friend or buy one.If you notice even one led flashing or something even a led near the hole that you plug the adapter(some laptops have a led there) then is not your adapter.
Good luck and let me know

Hello, got a problem with my motherboard GA-965GM-S2

In only 1 of about a million times can you look at a motherboard and tell if it has been fried by over-voltage --- unless it has been struck by lightning!

If it just shutdown, it maybe that it just died!!! The CPU could have been running a little hot for a while and it finally burned out, causing the machine to stop. Usually with a memory fault, the machine will blue-screen with a page fault error and then fail to restart. A CPU failure just shuts the machine down, boom!! You can try replacing the CPU with a like kind and with a better cooling fan, etc. and see if you can get some life back into it.

take out CPU and switch it on - do you get the same behaviour?
If so then CPU is probably wrong sort - check model of mainboard and CPU.
If behaviour is differnt then fit CPU and remove ram - if it beeps then CPU is working. Replace RAM and disconnect ALL other devices (hard disk, CD, front panel connect cable, reset button) just leave fans and power plugged in. now short out two pins for power on switch and see if it starts up.

High pitch frequency comming from the cpu

might be the fan on the processor or in your actual hardrive there are actual discs that spin ,this is most likely to be the problem, and sorry no solution 2 that except gettin a new hardrive.
