Question about Dell Inspiron 8100 Notebook
When turn on my Dell Inspiron 8100 everything is fine for about 3 to 5 minute and the screen will go black. The fan and screen are not operating, but everything else is still operating.
To narrow down the problem area, connect the laptop to an external monitor, if everything works properly, then you have a bad screen. If it does the same, then you have a failing motherboard component that is causing the shutdown.
