Hi

If all you want is to read a message that is in your web-mail while on your desktop, simply selecting or highlighting all the text, right-clicking and going to 'copy' on the menu, and then right-clicking and 'pasting' into Notepad or Word should do it for you. If you mean how do you get your web-mail forwarded to a desktop account, there will be a link somewhere on your web mail page, perhaps called 'Settings' which, when you click on it will guide you to instructions on how to forward POP or IMAP mail .

Also if you have emails divided accordingly in different folders you can change where you store your messages. Go to Tools/Options/Maintenance and click on the Store Folder button. You can specify where you want your mail folder to be.

I wouldn't recommend saving files/folders to the desktop. Shortcuts are OK but files and/or folders will slow down your PC. You could save your mail folder to "My Documents", right-click the mail folder and choose Send to... Desktop (as a shortcut).

you should be able to download the e-mails. If you have Outlook Express, go to View/Layout and put a tick in "Folder List". Click on "Outlook Express" at the top of the list. In the main window, click on "Set up a mail account". You will be guided through the process, entering your Hotmail account details.

You can then click the Send/Receive button on the toolbar and download your e-mails from Hotmail into Outlook Express where you can read them.

Not seeing emails in your Trash? Yahoo Mail regularly empties the Trash folder. Once it's been emptied, they're permanently deleted from the Yahoo Mail servers.

How to reduce the number 0f stored emails and then set a limit time for emails?

Find the gear box (settings) and here you should find options as to how many emails will be displayed per page when you login in, (i.e. 10 per page, 20 per page etc). Each email provider is set up differently, however most put the email settings on the upper right hand corner. Look for a gear icon, or the word "settings", "email preferences" or words to that affect. You will also find, when viewing your list of emails, a check box at the top left (directly above the first displayed email). This allows you to select "all" emails currently listed within the page, and delete them all at once. Be sure you look through the list as to not delete any important emails or emails you'd like to keep. If you do accidentally delete one, fearnoy as you simply can go to your "deleted" folder l, select the email(s) you want to keep, and "move" them to your inbox. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you.

How can I delete friends I don't want?

Are you talking about within e-mail or a social networking site like facebook?

Within email, depending on how you're accessing email and what company provides your email (your internet service company or some free email like hotmail, yahoo, or gmail) you can typically move unwanted email to a spam or junk email folder and over time this will help remove unwanted emails from showing up.

More simply, you can also just delete the emails that you do not want.

Actually, the emails are not moved. The label associated changes. So, if you create a folder, the name of the folder becomes the label you have to assign to the message.

My delete button stopped deleting emails in Outlook Express

You may have maxed out your storage. Try moving the deleted messages to a new folder if working with Outlook Express you can save the messages. Moving messages to Trash still counts toward your storage. If using Web mail, download and save the messages to a folder. Once done, you can safely delete these messages, freeing up your server for more traffic.

Outlook Express still sending

Good Evening:

Hope that you are wellJ

Still Stuck in the outbox

Some emails get stuck in the Outbox and sent again and again; this can mean you’re running out of disk space, so your email can’t move it to the Sent folder. You can try moving it or deleting it, but check whether you’re low on space and delete some old emails. Alternatively use Start, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup to get more space.
If I can be of further assistance, please let me know

And, remember; always include the type of Operating System and the type of computer you own, when you submit your questions. It simply makes for much faster solutions.

Have a wonderful weekend.
