When i power off my printer; the next day it prints faint and blurred on all colors. when i flash the firmaware then prints normal. this means i have to have this printer on power 24/7 which is not economical. please help

check the ink cartidges (the color ones) scanners use just black ink to print with (all grayscale) if you can't buy/ afford cartidges right now (who ISN'T broke these days!?!) then set the preferances on the printer to "black/ grayscale" and see if that works ( also is a good test to see if ink is out)

Make sure you don't have anything qued up in the printer, flashing usually means something is printing...

Try:

• Certain colors are missing or no ink prints on the paper
• How do I perform a print head cleaning?

This is because the colour catridge might have finished.
for black and whicte printing you have separate catridge.colour catrige is a tri colour catridge which contains three colous in it.The blue colour might have finished. So please change your colour catrige and it wil ok.

ok..first you will need to print the nozzle check and see if all the color are printed out fine.. this feature is under the printer properties , under the utility tab.... assuming all your colors nozzle are printed fine..then the next thing for you to do is do the Print Head Alignment.. it's under the same place where you print the nozzle check.. when you press the Print Head Alignment, it will print a page out with many lines.. choose the one with the best alignment.. once u done that..try printing the image again..
oh..if your nozzle check print out is not good.. then you will need to perform head cleaning to clear the clogged head..

chean the black cartridege with a cleanex and tap it to see if ink will come outm if it does bor then it has dried out and needs replacement.

If it is solid on, it means the printer is ready to print; no action is required. If it's flashing, it means the printer is processing data and should print soon.

If you are printing from your computer and nothing comes out, with the "Horseshoe" light staying solid, I suggest checking the connection between your computer and the printer, or at least the printer configuration. Most of the time, unplugging, then plugging cables back in does the trick.

Paper jam, top cover is open, out of paper, fuser is bad, or paper did not pickup. All but the fuser is consumer repairable.

Hi, check the nozzle and test , if the result not in solid color there are spaces within the color means need head cleaning after head cleaning twice test print .

Black cartridge is low! That means you have a few pages to print but yellow is off! maybe you can change the chip on the BLACK and YELLOW cartridge!!!!
