Are you getting any codes on the panel? most likely either your pump filter is glogged on front loaders, or the pressure switch located on the inside of your control panel is not functioning on top loaders. If you can blow through the tube connected to the switch and it is not plugged, then the suspect is the sensor. Could also be the main control board had died. Need more info here. Thanks

Yes you should not be able to **** through it, but sometimes things find there way in the tube anyway, but if your blowing through the hose thats a good sign. But no LED's is not. Have you checked and made sure you have power at the receptical for the washer, not the first time I seen that happen! If so and no power at the control panel leads me to believe the panel has died. These things love to throw codes when there is an issue and yours has no power, so the next logical step is to replace the panel. Do you have a meter to test for power around on the control panel to make sure the power is getting to the board? If it is coming in but not going out, well it is useless.

do you know if there is an inline fuse before the main board

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse, but it won't kill the power, some models have a fuse in the power cord, but for the most part Washers don't have internal fuses. They rely on home breakers, if there is a fuse it would have to be on the panel near the power cord. But I am not familiar with any fuses on these washers.

Hello Ion;

My name is Peter. I am a retired (excuse the expression) Sears field service appliance technician.

First, The people who installed your appliances are not technicians. Sears contracts delivery people to deliver appliances.
Often, It is not uncommon for me to make service calls the day after an appliance has been installed.

First, shut both the hot and cold water supply valves off. Remove the connection hoses from the valves. Be careful, where I am going with this is, after years of not being operated your shut off valves my be bad and partially block with rubber seating material. So, when you turn off the valves some water will still be in the lines. Your valves could be turned off, faulty and full open.

Now, with the hoses removed, open each water valve. Check for full flow. If you have a blocked cold water valve you will get an error code.

Next, the connections on your washer are marked; 'C' & 'H'. Make sure you have the hot water line to the 'H' and the cold water line to the 'C'. You will get an error code if the lines are reversed.

My water heater error code 1 model ee3250rd055v what does this mean

Water heater is not 100% identified.
Unknown if this is gas or electric heater.

Problem posted under Whirlpool water heaters typically made by American water heater company.
Call Whirlpool 877-817-6750.
They will ask for model number and serial number located on label on side of tank.
Call is answered in USA by trained person who can answer specifics about that model, including warranty, age, regular maintenance, error codes, and possible solution for that specific model and serial number.
I have found these folks to be helpful.

Whirlpool manuals do not show that specific model:

If you have the energy smart electric water heater with electronic control board, then error code explanation shows on the control board. Error 1 or a single flash, is start-up failure and requires tank to be full of water. Read page 10 of manual. Make sure water heater is full of water and water is coming full stream out of tub spout before turning on power. Also disconnect power from unit, make sure water heater is full, and then reconnect power to see if unit resets.

My washer is full of water that wont drain and keeps saying "sd" and "ld" and wont let me change cycles..

Your machine is taking too long to drain. Check the outlet, pump inlet and filter for obstructions. Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

Blank display. Someone mentioned they though the hines cracked and was pinching the connection,

Yes, this could be the problem. To test it, plug the computer into an external display. If all if fine there it may just be the ribbon that connects the computer to the display. Hard to fix yourself.

Whirlpool washing machine wont stop all lights

Check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out.

While the machine is on press "end of cycle" for 3 seconds, then wait for 2 minutes to try the door. Try this again if it does not open, this is the child lock program - to lock and unlock; it is the same procedure.

How abt a nice rating for the free help? Thnks
