Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
No promises, because it is difficult to judge what is wrong from a distance, BUT I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my guidance notes for checking both the drain filter and the drain motor ;-0)
-------------------------------------

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Start button does not activate door lock and will not turn on

It may be a micro switch that is not engaging. Try pushing on the door to see if that solves the problem. If so, put in a spacer to push the switch more.

My WFF2001 Bosch washing machine will not wash above 30 degrees. Previously, I had started a prog and immediately realised it wasn't the correct one. Stupidly, I turned it to the correct delicate wash...

Normally this must not happen but remove the plug and keep aside for the error voltage to subside in the processor controller.
Now after a few hours plug on the washer holding the stop /pause button.
Now check to see if the fault has cleared.
This is a case of errror when the program wa shifted and you can still repeat to unplug the washer overnight/24 hours.

Panel lights are on. push on button nothing happens

I have experienced the same thing a number of times. To solve, open the door, then turn the knob, and push the start button on and off, and push the delayed start button (3, 6, 12 hour). Then close the door, and retry. This routine seems to reset the system.

Bosch WFF2001 can I use it cold fill only

Sure it will work but both fill hoses have to be hooked up or you have to buy a hose bib cap to place on the hot side to keep the water from comming out the other side.

We have inherited a bosch WFF2001 washer> It starts washing but does not rinse or spin. We have left it an hour washing but goes not further.

hi sir  i thinkKeeping the dishwasher's sprayer arms, strainers, and water pump clean will help deter problems before they begin. Here's how to check on these important features. The heating element is used to help dry the dishes. In most dishwashers, the heating element fits around the screen in the bottom of the tub housing; it looks like an electric oven element. The heating element doesn't malfunction often, but it can burn out. If you suspect a faulty element:
