My Computer Virus Protection Would not allow the file yo open therefore I want to get my money back and cancel thepurchase

No need ...sometimes you need to disable virus protection during install of perfectly harmless software because the software needs to make one connection back to its vendor to either set a cookie or update it's latest release.this is seen by most antivirus as suspicious so it stops the install.just disable the antivirus ...install...then enable antivirus.all should be okay.

Tip

Having problems installing or with the install of your all in one

The biggest problems people report having are: my scanner doesnt work; it wont communicate; the install wont completly install; it prints and copies but it wont scan.
here is what i feel is probably the most important thing to remember when installing any all in one.

1:disconnect from the web and disable your antivirus prior to begining your installation of your new all in one.

reason: many antivirus software programs see scanner drivers as virus like activity and will prevent thier installation in part or as a whole.

If you are downloading drivers or installation software from the web. Save the files to you desk top. disconnect from the web, disable your antivirus, and run the install from the desktop

Installed latest adobe flash but still freezes while loading...

Hello and thank you for using Fixya services.

From the sounds of your issue, it may be that you have malware or a Trojan. You can run a scan using this free
malware/antivirus protection. I am not sure which antivirus you are currently using but this one is free and has excellent reviews. You will need to uninstall your current antivirus protection first before installing this one.

Malware/Trojans can disable your antivirus programs and make it look like everything is running smoothly. By running a complete scan with another program, you can get the malware out. Even the best antivirus can be disabled.

Please let me know I can be of further assistance.

  1. Close all applications, and then restart your computer.
  2. After your computer has restarted, disable any antivirus or any antispyware applications that may load during the startup process. You can usually disable the application from the notification area. This area is located in the lower-right corner of the computer screen. To disable an application from the notification area, follow these steps:
    1. Right-click the icon of the third-party program.
    2. Click Close, Disable, Exit, or a similar term from the list of options. If these options are not available, you may have to open the application and then close or disable it in the application.
  3. As soon as you close the antivirus or the antispyware application, try to install the full download package for the service pack that you previously downloaded from the following Microsoft Download Center Web site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads)
  4. After you have completed the service pack installation, enable the antivirus or the antispyware application that you disabled in the previous steps.

Download it, install it, update it, schedule a boot-time scan, you wil be amazed by just how much it finds & it wont slow your system by being too labour intensive like symantec. http://www.avast.com/
