Question about Televison & Video
If a power supply is what you want, they are available all over the world, just use the internet like you did tonight and use Google, type in your tv make and model and power supply and you will find them. Parts are really hard to come by now the Quake in Japan has shut down many suppliers. I am in America and we can;t get these here, but you should be able to find them online where you loive.Or simply contact Hitachi for the replacement. The reason the set is shutting down is just as you described it, it senses an over current and shuts down before burning up. The place you bought the set might be your best place to look, or the technician who looked at it should be able to get these parts.
