First, you wind the crown by turning it clockwise about 30-40 turns (the knob in the between the chrono pushers, at the side of the case; this, to start it up and get it going, your wrist movement keeping it wound from there, with a power reserve kicking in over night to keep it running while you sleep so as to be ready for you in the morning to wear and thus through such wear winding it up via your wrist movement all over again ;) . To set the time, pull out the crown out and turn it to move the hands so as to set the correct time. When done, remember to return the crown to its original position and enjoy.

My A24322 is not working. Pl let me know how to get this started. Is this an automatic watch or a winding watch?

Your watch is an automatic (self winding) watch which can be started by swinging it gently from side to side for some minutes to wind the spring up.

For details see their web site by inserting the following link into your search engine http://www.breitling.com/en/index.php#/models/navitimer/navitimer-world/.

Self winders rely on being used to keep them wound and operate best if used every day.

How does a navitimer work

I don't know!

I have looked at the Breitling site and it is uninformative about anything in the line of user instructions.

They do offer a store locator .

I suggest that you go to "www.breitling.com/en/index.php#/home/" and select "retailers" to find your nearest dealer and go to see them.

Watch looses time. Breitling 1884

It sounds like your either not moving enough to wind it (try winding manually) or it needs a service (gear oil gone sticky) to free it up.

Called Citizen Customer Service and was told that there is no way to change it. These watches come set with metric or imperial scales from the factory and cannot be changed.
