Headphone jack not working

Do the speakers still work? If they do most probably the connector jack is broken, you can either send it to a service rep to replace (which costs a bomb and takes a better half of a year) or you could get a USB to Headphone/Microphone converter which costs about 5-8 Euros

Hp input cycles on and off and there's no volume on my denon aver 1610 receiver

Headphone jack is bad. Two ways to fix: Either replace the headphone jack, or if you don't plan on using the headphones, unplug the cable going to the headphone jack pcb. There may be two cable on that board, unplug the one that is closest to the front panel. This will affect nothing else except disabling the headphone jack.

My headphone jack is broken on my Dell Latitude Cpx J & i have no sound through my speakers because of this. Is their a way i can change something in the settings so the sound plays through my laptop...

It is a mecanical problem, not in settings. The laptop's headphone jacks have builted-in switches that disconnect internal speackers when the headphone jack is plugged in. You need to replase headphone jack with a new one or manually desactivate the swith - must to get ino your laptop and have skills in work with soldiering iron

Dell latitude d600 battery light flashes 4 times red then once green. i know i need a battery, but is it telling me i need one.

Yes, that is an error code that indicates the battery has reached the end of its useful life. Battery needs to be replaced soon, or it (the battery) will stop working, and then you will only be able to use the computer when it is plugged in to an outlet.
Recommendation: Do NOT buy a used battery from eBay or other source. It is probable that if a used battery is more than a year old, it has little useful life left.
