You will have the spit it open and find the break in the cable, or go buy a new cable. They are less than 10 dollars shipped on eBay.

Polk Audio DSW Pro 500 remote doesn't"t work. I've tried replacing the battery and was told by another technician to take the sub-woofer out and make sure the cable is plugged up to the amp and the IR...

Is this NEW? Or did it just fail spontaneously after working for awhile?

Is this just a remote control issue or is the sub dead, too?

From the manual...

No sound coming from subwoofer.

If hookup is "SUB OUT" to LFE, check and make sure your receiver is set to Subwoofer=YES. If hookup is via speaker wire, check that the polarity of the wires is correct.

Subwoofer has no power.

Is the AC MAIN switch on? Check outlet; check fuse after unplugging the subwoofer. The fuse is located under the power cord
receptacle. Fuse type and rating is found on the back panel.

Remote control doesn't work.

Remove the plastic tab to activate the remote control's battery or try replacing the battery. Ensure the IR sensor is not blocked.

If it's a new problem with a previously working remote...

It describes a way to possibly fix your remote or at least prove it works or doesn't.

Find new or replacement remotes:

or eBay: search for "(model) remotes", check the 'include description' box. Usually cheaper than the vendors.

When i load a purchased cd everything works fine except there isnt any sound. The radio works great

Does it work for regular CD's?
If you have an amplified system, you may have the wrong wires hooked up for the "remote".
Swap power antenna and remote blue wires and it should fix the problem.

My led is blinking...and the remote isnt working....i have changed the batteries but still the problem remains...

Possibel shifting of the frequency of the remote. You can remove the remote and check for fault in the Xtal . Solder the section including the remote controller IC. This can be also defective. If the fault is still repeating a further confirmation must be done on the system receiver before we can confirm to change the IC or the Xtal. Get help from a similar model to cconfirm if you can or else you must take the challenge of changing the IC. Try using a universal remote if it works. Hope you get this right . Good day

How do you fix the kicker cvr 12? like i wired it up right and it still doesnt work i think i blew it it isnt springy any input?..want to fix it if i can dont have a lot of money!! feedback is awesome

Isn't springy----voice coil overheated and the cone is "frozen". It's shot.

I am thinking a re-cone kit (if it could be re-coned) and labor might be just as much as getting a new one. Sorry to say.

My subwoofers will not play the amp is on

is there power going into the subwoofers? check to see if the speaker wire isnt just loose, if it isnt, take a test light and see if you have power to the subwoofers, by probing at the subwoofer connection, if there is then it there is an internal problem with the subwoofer(s),.

For my logitech z-4 speakers, my right speaker works fine but my left speaker has stopped making noise. if you turn it up to maximum you can slightly hear it, but its really quiet. can i fix it?

googled the same exact prob. and found this forum. after reading through the postings to get some ideas, I went back to my speaker set and unplugged the serial port that hooks up to the remote. blew on the connector and plugged it back in and VIOLA! I got sound from the left speaker again! Must be my awesome, smelly breathe that woke up the left speaker....

Only one comes on

sounds like one of the channels on your amp is playing up.take it to an audio specilist to have this checked. if your rear right speaker isnt working this wouldnt cause the sub to stop working
