That's really bad quality (and a waste of a 4.7GB DVD) for 8 minutes if it's really 500kb; the opposite if it's 500kb/s. It sounds like you're using Windows 7, but an unspecified error is pretty useless! Try examining the message for details, and look in application logs (you might have to enable them) to get a proper error message. That'll let you know what trouble it might be having upsampling your video to DVD.

It may be on a separate disc from your operating system recovery disc. The disc may be called "applications".

Repair the program by going to Control Panel --> Add Remove Programs --> Ulead MF6 --> Change/Remove --> Repair.
You must have the original instal disk in you optical drive for this to work. This solved the no capture driver error message for me. If this doesn't work I would uninstall and reinstall the whole program.

reinstall the program again and make sure your drivers are properly working

Do you have the Ulead program on disk?

Go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs, and remove Ulead. If asked to restart your computer, do so. If not, close all windows until you are back to your desktop scree, and restart your computer. (Windows XP: Start>Turn Off Computer>Restart)

After Windows boots back up again, and all your Start Menu programs, reinstall Ulead again.

Ulead Movie Factory Requires you to Create a "Menu" First,or else it will Loop over and over again.

yes there is a program called ulead dvd moviefactory you could import all from camcorder and import to movie factory as I use pinnacle studio to import and ulead movie factory to export to dvd format hope this has helped
