Question about ViewSonic PJ1173 Projector
I presume that the problem started in the middle of the picture and has gradually got larger as time goes on.
It is most likely the blue organic polariser/filter glass plate that passes the blue light into the blue lcd panel.
If you were to take the cover off ( with the power disconnected) and check inside the optics area, you may see the filter burnt from long use on high brightness levels.
Either try and get a replacement polariser or buy a second hand PJ1173 cheaply on ebay and replace that part.
