Question about Canonical Ltd. Ubuntu
I tried sudo/etc/init.d/alsa-utills start
reply on monitor bad command
Did I miss something
Your command is slightly flawed. Try again as follows, making sure to include all spaces (copy and paste the command if it'll help)
sudo /etc/init.d/alsa-utils start
Note the space between sudo and /etc/blahblah and the space between /etc/blahblah and start. Also note the occlusion of the second L to the end of the alsa-utils command.
