Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Sounds like the DVD drive is going bad. Pretty soon it'll stop reading everything.
You could replace the drive yourself. Just buy a replacement drive off eBay/Amazon or some other retailer. The issue with that is that the Xbox 360 DVD drives are designed to only work with the Xbox it came with, so you'll have to do some fancy stuff to get the replacement to work in your Xbox.
Here's a link to replacement drives.
Here's a link to a guide (with excellent visuals) on how to actually replace it.
Too complicated? Just send it back to Microsoft, let them sort it out. If you're under warranty it should be free; otherwise, it'll cost you some money. Here's a link to their service center. (If you send it in, remember you keep your hard drive! They might not send it back if you forget.)
Hope it all works out!
