check the device manager under "Human Interface Devices" and see if the keyboard has an exclamation mark on yellow ground. If so it means you need a driver.

The new router could very well be causing wireless interference. Try moving the router away or turning it off and see if the mouse works. If it does, try changing the channel number on the router to see if that is causing the problem as it's possible both the mouse and router are using the same wireless channel and clashing. You can usually find the channel option in the Wireless Settings page of your router setup web interface.

Changed batteries in mouse and still getting message "battery low etc"

The mouse has a built in capacitor which provides power to run your mouse. When a capacitor gets older they get weaker and will keep the battery low light on constantly. Capacitors are made for storing voltage so the circuitry receives the proper power as needed. I mentioned when they get old the capacitor will not hold the proper voltage as needed. I would just replace the mouse sooner than later for eventually it will plain quit working someday soon

Can enter setup but can not change anything in

The easiest way to do this is to locate the coin cell / watch battery located on the motherboard and remove it, let it sit for a bit (some motherboards may need to sit upwards of 24 hours due to energy that stays in the motherboard). this should wipe the configuration.

Keep in mind, it will bring it back to default factory setup, so you might need to configure some devices again for everything to properly work.

but it should also wipe the password so you can make changes to the BIOS.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

CPU Fan not working

When the cpu cooler isn't working the cpu may destroyed by overheating. The cpu overheat protection makes your computer to shut down. Open the case and double check that the cpu fan cable is connected to the motherboard, at the proper connection point. Maybe replacing the battery, this cable ejected.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

My mouse pad is ultra sensative it connects to sights when I pass over things with my mouse is there anything I can under mouse in contral panel I called and they said to re-load the operating...

Hi, the problem here is your mouse. You have a bad driver or one wasn't loaded. Most of the time, this is a problem with an "off brand" mouse which will only work if the propriety drivers are loaded. You will need to either load the proper driver or try another mouse. I would try another if someone can lend you one.

Another thing could be that one of the buttons is stuck down on the mouse and when you pass over a link it acts like a double click and launches the site or the program.

Another thing to note: Is this a replacement mouse? Meaning that the original mouse died and this was it's replacement without loading drivers but actually, using the old drivers from the old mouse could cause issues. -Sorry if that sounds confusing-

Why does my wireless mouse arrow roam all over the place exept where I want it to

1) Check the batteries in the mouse
this is typical of weak batteries.

2) Make sure that the radio path between the wireless mouse
and its USB transceiver is not obstructed by a CRT
monitor or anything else that can block or corrupt the signal.

Old CRT monitors, TV's etc emit radio waves that interfere
with wireless communications. So do old ham radios,
portable phones, electric tools, and even old cars.

Keep the mouse transmitter/receiver widgit away from other
electronics and as close to the mouse as possible, with
no objects in between.

3) Make sure that there is not a similar mouse nearby,
(i.e. connected to another computer) working on the
same frequency.

4) Finally, make sure you don't have a back-door Trojan
running on you machine, such as "Back Orifice" or
"Net Bus"

These can remotely control you desktop, including the
mouse and keyboard.

Disconnect the mouse transceiver from the USB port.
If the mouse pointer still dances on the screen, and
there are no other pointing devices hooked up to the
machine, you have a remote control Trojan.

In such a case, disconnect you machine from the Internet
at once, network and wireless. Then scan and clean your
machine with a good anti-virus program, because these
types Trojan Horses are extremely dangerous. They can
see everything you see, and do anything you can do
when not watching, like steel your personal information,
and/or money from your bank. Anybody with your
personal info can then pretend to be you !!!!

Hey, but don't get a heart attack over it, it's probably
just the batteries. :)

Good luck, Martin
