the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

I got a new Sylvania netbook and for some reason it won't connect completely to the internet. We have an open network and sometimes it won't connect at all, but when it does, it won't let me open certain...

Maybe you hadn't fully set it up.

Try checking the following to see if any of these steps were missed.

On a "hooked up" computer, Google "digital gadgets.com". There find "Sylvania Products". Then click on "7 inch netbook support" and follow directions inputing to the 7" netbook as you go.

For item # 4, you find your "hot spot" name (on the 7" netbook) and click "connect".

For item # 5, you may have to call your Internet Service Provider (Charter, AT&T or whoever you pay for your internet) in order to get your "network keys" fill that in (on the 7" netbook) and then click "OK".

Next (on the 7" netbook) be sure you go to "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", "Internet Options", "General" and complete "user agent (requires browser restart" by selecting:
"Default (same as windows XP)" or
"Same As Pocket PC" or
"Windows CE".

I selected "default" and was off and running.

Although this isn't a "lap-top" it is a really neat little machine and does a lot of stuff almost like one. It should be great for travel! It is a little slow and has small memory, but it's inexpensive and usb/sd ports are there. A regular universal mouse helps-just plug it into a USB port. I'm doing internet, movies, YouTube, word processing, etc like everything and I think a lot of people have way under-rated this fun little machine!

I would like to know if you can use MAGIC JACK with this netbook?

Is this the Win CE Netbook? If it is, the answer appears to be no. The 7" Win CE book apparently will not install 3rd party applications. It will accept a Wifi driver update I downloaded from digitalgadgets tech support though.

Hi,
I recently bought a Microbook PC with Windows CE v6.00 embeded. It also has WIFI 802.11 b/g.
On the desk top there is a WIFI power button that should activate a network icon on the tool bar. This Icon has disappeared so I cant access wireless networks.

I have a netbook with windows ce 6.o. I can't get

There are NO adapters compatible with Windows CE, the system is unsupported.
can Linux be installed on it instead? Try searching to see if there is an internet forum for the netbook.

Netbook Windows ce 6.0 cannot connect to Netgear wireless route

To connect to the Netgear wireless router the Netgear wireless needs to be configured and the wireless card in the netbook needs to be configured with the Netgear's wireless settings.
To configure both the Netgear and the wireless card in the netbook, please follow my instructions - please click on this link :-
