Question about Pioneer Car Audio & Video

Hi, I have a Pioneer DEH-P7850BT car radio. I am having problems pairing with my iPhone 4. There are times that it will pair, and then there are times that it says that there is an error. Even when it does pair, it will NEVER do it automatically, even though I have set the auto connect feature to ON. Is this a firmware issue for the Pioneer unit or the iPhone or is this a loosing

Hi - eTonyBear - Sorry to say it appears to be an ongoing issue with the IPhone 4. IOS 4.1 was supposed to fix it but didn't. It's not your car audio.

Some have had luck turning off 3G when pairing.

The Issue continues to this day...neither I not Apple have a fix. Sorry.

For more information and fellow unhappy IPhone 4 users browse these threads at the Apple forums.

HERE and HERE and there are more there such threads about this issue in the forums. Hopefully Apple will get this together soon!

Regards and thanks for using Fix Ya.

Hi,I got mine to work. All you have to do is Turn off the Antenna every time you get out of the car. Not a big deal sense it's just a push of the button. Make sure your not using the phone or it will not reconnect so you have to have the phone on but not in use and then turn on the Antenna.

Good luck to you..

Hi.

The pairing portion of your Pioneer is the problem, and it is tied to the firmware.

I can't guarantee that it will work, but a firmware update for the head unit might well solve your problem.

As a rule, it isn't the phone, it's the receiving unit insteaf.

That being said, it is also possible for there to be some software issue with the phone that is preventing it from syncing up the way it's supposed to.

You may try to see if there is a firmware update for the phone, firmware works like drivers for computer parts, the newest software always has the most current fixes.

I hope this helps you out some, and good luck !

Why won't my new iphone 5s pair with my Cardo scala G9x? My iphone 4 pairs very easily.

believe that it is because the 5s is digital and the 4 is analog--we install blue tooth systems in cars and had to replace most of them because of the release of the 5s--older blue tooth system are analog so are not compatible with the 5s--as probably is what is your problem

Installed Pioneer DEH P6200BT. Experiencing BT problem. Everything seems to work correctly, locating, pairing, receiving calls, dowloading address books, all of that works correctly. The problem I have is...

Hi! I just figured this out myself. The radio only sends the phone call audio to the front speakers. My car only has wires for one set of speakers, so I chose the rear channels. I just rewired to the front channels instead. Solved! Bad on Pioneer, there is absolutely no mention of this in the installation or operation manual.

Cant save settings in Pioneer cd player DEH-P55BT car cd player

The constant power (yellow wire) needs to be connected to an unswitched +12V source. It sounds like that's either unconnected or you've connected it to a switched power source.
