I'm trying to enter my activation code and the program won't let me enter any '0's or '1's. It's not a problem with my keyboard since obviously I just typed them in a different program.

You could try typing it in something else (notepad, wordpad, email) and then copying and pasting it into the activation code area.

Most likely it will not close because the lock has been activated while the door was open. Probably need to take it to a locksmith.

When I try to type the numbers of the card required for product activation (Rosetta Stone-Hebrew level 1) , the keyboard does not type some numbers and some letters.

The activation code that you're trying to enter is on the back of the card. You have to remove the card from the packaging and then scratch off the silver stripe. You'll find that the activation code contains no 0's or 1's.

HOW TO OPEN THE DOOR USING THE NUMBER PAD ON THE DOOR

this from the owners manual
Programming your own personal entry code
To program your own code:
1. Enter factory set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed).
2. Press 1/2 control within five
seconds of step 1.
3. Enter your personal 5 digit code.
Enter each digit within five seconds
of previous one.
Do not set a code that includes five
of the same number or presents
them in sequential order. Thieves
can easily figure out these types of codes.
Your personal code does not replace the permanent code that the
dealership gave you. You can use either code to unlock your vehicle. If a
second personal code is entered, the module will erase it in favor of the
new code.
If you wish to erase your personal code, use the following instructions:
1. Enter factory set code.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
Controls and features
90
2. Press 1/2 control within five
seconds of step one.
3. Press 7/8 control and 9/0 control
at the same time within five seconds
of step 2.
The system will now only respond
to the factory set code.
Unlocking the doors with the keyless entry system
To unlock the driver door, enter either the factory set code or the
personal code (each digit must be pressed within five seconds of the
prior digit). The interior lamps will also illuminate.
To unlock all doors, enter the factory set code or personal code (driver
door unlocks) and press the 3/4 control within five seconds.
Locking the doors with the keyless entry system
It is not necessary to enter the factory or personal code prior to locking
all doors. To lock the doors:
² Press the 7/8 control and the 9/0 control at the same time.

Door key pad, won't unlock door

  1. Enter the permanent factory remote keyless entry (RKE) keypad code.
  1. Press the 1/2 button within 5 seconds to activate the programming mode associated with the memory position 1 settings. Holding the 1/2 button for more than 2 seconds after activation erases the stored personal code.
  1. Within 5 seconds, enter the new 5-digit RKE keypad code. The door locks lock and unlock to confirm the new code is programmed and associated with the memory position 1 settings. Entering any new personal code automatically erases the old personal code.
  1. Press the 3/4 button within 5 seconds to activate the programming mode associated with the memory position 2 settings. Holding the 3/4 button for more than 2 seconds after activation erases the stored personal code.
  1. Within 5 seconds, enter the new 5-digit RKE keypad code. The door locks lock and unlock to confirm the new code is programmed and associated with the memory position 2 settings. Entering any new personal code automatically erases the old personal code.
  1. Press the 5/6, 7/8, 9/0, 7/8 and 9/0 button within 5 seconds to activate the programming mode or allow the system to timeout.

Key board problem

It sounds like you have Num Lock activated. Turn that off and it should go back to normal.

On my Dell laptop I have to use a Function + F4 key combination to do this. It'll probably be a slightly different key combination on your machine, but the same idea (assuming you don't have a dedicated Num Lock key).
