The innerside elements of the toaster are not warming up. Only the outer sides of the bread slices are toasting. How to fix?

You need to take the sides off and try inspect the inner element, looking for a break in the flat wire, or a bad connection where there is an eyelet or such in the mica where the leads connect to the element. You will probably have to buy a new center element from an electrical repair outlet and replace it.

I think the elements are no longer working. can these be replaced or fixed?

Inside your toaster there are six heating element plates four in the center and one in left end and one in right end.
Just switch on the toaster without any bread at maximum time and visualy inspect to see which side is becoming red and which not. Then you need to replace the element plates you see that they don't become red. They can not be fixed.
Remember that the two in center are the same called "CENTER" and the other two on ends are the same called "END"
They can easily be removed if you remove the bottom panel.
Good Luck

Center element not working. Only toasts on the outsides. Ref 875742/4yb-5003. Is this repairable or under warranty?

I believe that the center heating element in your toaster is burnt out. If it is new take it back to where you bought it. If it is under warranty usually only 90 days from date of purchase you can send it in but remember that must companies require that you pay shipping and handling and this could be nearly the cost of a new toaster plus it will probably take 4 to 6 weeks. If your toaster was very expensive you might also try a local repair shop, but again if they need to order the part it could take 1 to 4 weeks for repair.

The centre element in my 4 slice model has gone. Can this be replaced?

Don't know if you can get the heating element as separate part. But, this can probably be repaired. It's likely either a burned connection/connector or the heating element is broken.

Bad connectors can be replaced, the heating element can be just twisted back together where it is broken.

The toast gets done on one side and not the other

No way to replace it your Dualit toaster is a toaster for life you just need to replace some element plates and this is normal every some years. My Dualit toaster is 18 years old I have replace a couple of times the element but is always working perfect and with st. steel finish look perfectly new and impresive.
Inside your toaster there are eight heating element plates six in the center and one in left end and one in right end.
Just switch on the toaster without any bread at maximum time and visualy inspect to see which side is becoming red and which not. Then you need to replace the element plates you see that they don't become red.

Inner element not working

first do you see a small taped area or, something that looks like a large resistor connected to the nichrome wire this should be a thermal fuse you need not replace the wire unless it's broken check visually and, with a meter the cal-rod wire is available at appliance part houses
