Wipe out the operating system and re-install it. The operating system is Windows XP or Vista ect. Get the disk, make sure you havet he keycode. Put the disk in the cdrom/dvdrom and restart the computer until it recognizes the disk in the drive. Then boot by disk. It will ask you if you want to install the software on the same partician thats already in the laptop - choose yes. you will loose everything in your laptop when you install a new operating system. Back up everything you want to save on a disk or other media first.

I have a vodafone doongle and cant get on facebook as there is a parent lock on it this has never happend before to me due to me being 38 years old please help

The PC or Laptop you are trying to use has Parental Control Software installed: this has nothing to do with your Vodafone Dongle hardware, or the actual age of the user, as it is a software designed to control Internet access to certain 'nominated' sites for specific group of users on the specific machine the Parental Control Software was installed on: the owner/administrator should be able to change the settings!

Hope it helps!

MY LAPTOP IS TSHIBA I AM OVER 18 BUT I HAVE LIMIT TO THE WEBSITE THATG I COULD VISIT BCOS OF CONTENT. HOW CAN I REMOVE THIS PLS HELP.

Hi there,

Goto Start > Control Panel > Parental Controls. Select the account in question and turn off Parental Controls. If this doesn't fix your problem then it's likely an addon in your internet browser. You will also need administrative privledges to turn off Parental Controls.

How do i turn off parental settings, or even better change my account to an adult one on xbox 360?

Hello,

If you did not create a Live account that is not over 18 years old, it is unfortunately impossible to COMPLETELY remove the parental controls on the Xbox, however, it is possible to almost completely turn them off. If you have access to the 'parent' account of the child's account on the Xbox 360 and you have your own Xbox Live Gamertag, you can login using your Windows Live account on Xbox.com and change parental control settings.

If the "Child" account has reached the age of 18, then you need to sign into the "Parent" account and follow these steps to convert the account to an "Adult" account:

  • Go to My Xbox, and open your profile.
  • Select Manage Account.
  • Select Promote Child Account.
  • Follow the required steps.

If the "Child" account is NOT atleast 18 years old then this is how to modify the Parental Control settings (Note: You can NOT completely disable Parental Controls, games that have ratings above the neccesary age can NOT be downloaded on the "Child"account):

  • Sign in using the "Child" account's Live email address and password.
  • Click on the gamertag in the upper right hand corner of the site.
  • Click the Manage Profile button.
  • Under the Gamer Profile heading, choose "Family Settings".
  • It will now ask to sign in as the "Parent" account.
  • After signing in, you can change the Parental Control limitations.
  • When done, click the save button at the bottom of the page.
(Information taken from following site)

Hope it helped.
