Question about Microsoft Computers & Internet
If I was in your position I would do the following things:
1. Try to do a repair install for MS Office Suite/MS Publisher (if separately installed from MS Office).
Instructions on how to do this: Go to Start->Control Panel->Programs and Features->Select MS Office (or) MS Publisher from the list->Click on the top of the toolbar "Repair" button if available.
2.If the above doesn't fix the problem I would suggest to test your MS publisher file as (this) set of Microsoft's KnowledgeBase instructions suggest.
3. If the instructions above are what you have already tried, I would suggest to backup your files from MS publisher and re-install it from the beginning.
Let me know how that went.

Tips for a great answer:
If you do not want to buy or cannot afford a
full, licensed copy of MS
Publisher 2007 and/or prefer to pursue the downloading option,
consider the latest version of genuine, similar free comprehensive Office Suite
applications - OpenOffice
downloadable free, from their original source, at:
You can use OpenOffice and LibreOffice simultaneously with MS Office 2010 Pro 60-Day Trial. If you delete MS Office 2010 Pro 60-Day Trial, well before the 60 day expiry date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and Restart before downloading and installing it again, it is usually possible to enter into further 60 Day trial periods. If you cannot use the Product Key you mention but are determined to continue using a MS Publisher 2007, then you will have to purchase a full, genuine, unused and licensed copy of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon:
Online offers of Free Downloads of MS Office products are
probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used
licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or sites that
are masquerading non-existent MS
products as camouflage for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software,
products or services. Even if you do succeed in finding a Product ID or
download site that seems to work for MS
Publisher 2007, you will still have to purchase a separate,
genuine, unused Activation Code for the product before you can successfully
install it, use it with confidence, register it, activate it and download and
benefit from Updates and Security Patches for it from Microsoft.
