Craftsman 68514

The replacement pack for this gun say the staples are compatible with "Craftsman 68514 and 68517; Arrow Brand T50 Staplers T50 and T55; and Stanley/Bostitch TR110 and BT110 staple guns", so I assume they are also backwards compatible. That's just an assumption though.

The info on the gun says it will shoot many different staples, but it will only take 3/8 staples and I need to use 1/2 staples to do the job.

The T50P stapler uses T50 staples of various lengths, including 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2. Is it possible that the 1/2 inch staples you are trying to use are not T50? All T50 staples are the same width and should fit your stapler. There are several other widths of staples that are not T50, although T50 is the most common.

Staples are stuck inside the stapler and will not come out

Typically you do not open these up.
Makes it difficult to remove stuck or wrong staples.
I have had good luck removing the staple ram rod and rapping firmly on the **** of the stapler against a wooden table. The idea is jolting the stuck staples into reverse out the way they went in. Tedious process but usually works. Removing the jammed staples in the nose at the striker plate requires using needle nose pliers and a sharp awl or small screw driver used on very small screws.
My T50 Arrow stapler is over 20 years old.
Still works great. Sometimes I slide in the wrong size staples by mistake. The process above usually works.
Good luck!

How to put the staples

depress the handle enough to release the side catch on the stapler. now pull the bottom track down. insert a few rows of staples and snap the track back up into the stapler. the spring loaded follower goes in back of the staple stack.

My arrow fastener model t-50m is jammed how do I remove the few

I have a similar issue with my T50m stapler. To remove the staples unscrew the locking nut near where you load the staples and remove the tapppered bolt. The track will lift out and the staples can be easily removed. Why this is happening is unknown to me also. I purchased a new gun.
