I need the model number, BUT if you are electronic, the temperature manually changed is viewed as a temporary change, and typically lasts for two hours, then goes back to the programmed temp. To change for good, you need to change the program or turn the program off./

My robertshaw 9620 thermostat is stuck on 70 and i can not change setting frim temp or time.

Here's how I fixed my Robertshaw thermostat that was stuck at a 70 degree reading for almost 2 monthes. When I turned on the air conditioner or heater it wouldn't stay on. I removed the cover panel and dusted off the inside which the guy at local hardware store suggested. That didn't work. Then I noticed the words "reset" right on the green circuit board on the left side. There's a very small silver button. I pressed on it and everything reset. Less than a minute later the thermostat is reading the correct room temperature. Now my air conditioner and heater are working properly.

We have pro2000 set at 70.the temp goes to 64 or below before it turns on.what do I need to do?

Try resetting your thermostat and checking all time and temp settings in your programming. I have found that usually it's the thermostat programming that defaults back to a certain temp after a certain time period. Here is a link to the installation instructions to help your further.

I keep setting my thermostat but it automatically goes back to same temperature no matter what i set it at

If it is a programmable thermostat, it will only stay at a certain temp until it reaches it or on a set time, then it goes back to the scheduled program temperatures. Most programmable thermostats do have a hold feature that allows you to hold the temp to a certain setting, but if you don't set it to permanent hold, then it does what you described. Hopefully this helps some or guides you in the right direction. Good luck!

How to install maple chase 9600 thermostat

The manual is very specific.  http://www.icca.invensys.com/manuals/robertshaw/110-653B.pdf    The Robertshaw 9600 is the same unit. The terminals marked RH, RC, W, Y, G are where you put the wires, just loosen the set screws with a small flat head screwdriver, insert the bare wire into the hole and tighten the screw. Leave the jumper between RH and RC for most installations. The red wire goes to the RH. Please come back and comment if you need more specific help. Good luck

I have a raypak heater with robertshaw 7000 gas

Remove the wires from the gas valve and call for it to light. While it is trying to light, take a voltage reading on the wires that go to the valve. If it is sending voltage to the valve and it won't energize the valve then the valve is defective. Just make sure that the valve is being told to come on. It could just be a limit switch. Double check the manual reset limits also before doing the vavle check. Hope this helps.
