The evaporator coil can be purchased separately and is the most common part to leak on an a/c system. The system must be evacuated of refrigerant and the old coil cut out and the new installed. Leak check performed and vacuum pulled on the system before recharging with refrigerant.

I have a 1.5 ton air handler unit that keeps freezing. Ive blown the lines cleaned thw coils and replaced the filter.

If you have done all this then you need to have a tech come and top of the refrigerant, and if he doesn't see a leak, but you have a slow leak that happens over time it will freeze again.

Low level will cause the handler to freeze with other conditions, but it appears you have covered the rest.

Model ck42-1a compressor won't come on. I replaced the intake filter about a month ago. It was a pleated filter and was real caked when I replaced this month. Can that cause the compressor to go out? I...

The fact the filter was very dirty and the door partly open allowing non filtered air to enter the system leads me to a possible dirty evaporative coil on the furnace. That can cause poor airflow and iced up coil reducing airflow even more. In the long run can damage the compressor to the point of failure.

The freeon in my air conditioner has leaked out. i need to know if my air conditioner is under warrenty

your going to need the unit serial number and you will need to contact either a local Goodman distributor/dealer, or you will need to contact the installing contractor.

Depending on the age, most Goodman units come with up to a 10year warranty on the coils from defect. But that all depends on the model and age of the unit. Older units were only subject to a 5 year warranty on coils.

Regardless, the warranty after the first year will only cover the cost of the coil itself. You as the homeowner will still be responsible for the removal of the old refrigerant, labor to remove and install new coil, new filter drier, a proper pressure test, evacuation, and recharge of the unit. Its still a pretty penny but hey, at least the coil would be covered.

You will need to get up with a local contractor. Check around. Some contractors will not due warranty work either because of permission reasons, liability reasons, or other reasons that cannot be explained by anyone but that contractor.

If the coil you have is rated at 30,000 Btu's and the condenser is rated at 36,000 Btu's; chances are it will work. However, make sure you have very good air flow thru the coil or things will freeze. If you can get the correct 36,000 Btu orifice to fit the coil, install it. Better yet, Install a 3 ton TXV (Thermal Expansion Valve).
