The MP620 also has a rear slot for smaller paper sizes. Did you perchance submit a print job for some alternate paper size and the printer is expecting a rear load of paper?

It's looking for an alternative paper size from the MPF (multi purpose feeder) because it thinks the size you need FOR THE SPECIFIC DOCUMENT BEING PRINTED is not available in the default feeder. You can bypass this behaviour see here on page 73

I think Your printer problem in printer paper feeder. To resque the problem jast follow these method:
Open printer paper feeder. then open scrue and put off paper feeder. cheeck the plastic rooler. If it move tidely , try to move easily.

6A80 6a90 c000 6C10 feeder unit and / or purge unit defective. Blocked Zahnrad-/Kupplungs-Verbindung between the two systems / defective. Troubles with purge pump and or purge tube plugged (clogged). Needs service tech.
6A80 can be either a sheet feeder error or a purge unit error, either can be caused by paper scraps or other debris caught inside. You need to inspect closely with a flashlight and remove any scraps, beyond that you may need a shop to take apart and replace gears or even a purge assembly.
Either you have selected the wrong feeder, it can feed from the back or the front tray, the little green light shows which tray is selected. If you have paper in both, the feed roller may need cleaning since it gives that error if paper doesn't get picked up.
PRINTING ENVELOPES ON CANON MP620: It's simple, and you simply do two things: 1. In your word processing software, select 'letter size envelope' as your document size. 2. In the Canon MP 620 there is an auxiliary paper feeder at the rear of the printer -- open it. WHEN you have paper in it, it functions as the default paper feeder (instead of the internal paper trays). So place the envelope right-side-up in the feeder & adjust the gray holders to the envelope's size. Then click Print.
