Is it DANGEROUSLY LOUD hissing, like undecoded digital data?

Maybe you have a DTS source coming in on analog cables or your unnamed HTS can't deal with it or whatever digital bitstream you're feeding it.

Read the manual.

How do I fix........Getting rid of background noise coming from my JVC KWV21BT?

You have described a grounding issue. This "hiss" is due to one or more speakers &/or the radio itself not grounded properly which is producing the "hiss". I would take it back to the installer and have him correct this problem. They have a responsibility to make sure it's working 100%.

Sir if you're using VLC player or any player that goes beyond the limitation of volume of the computers then don't use it.

Background noise

no problem with..record some part of the start with no voice just a 5-10 seconds remain quite...just kept running the recording...then start and record your voice after which install AudaCITY Software and drag your audio file in it and then select the first 5-19 seconds recording which was just the background kept recording selecting the part go to Effects -> Noise Removal then press Get Profile,

after which again select all the track by: Control + A key on PC and then go to Effects Noise Removal move the bar to the left side...and press ok/continue key....now your track is very much clean by the noise...and

for sound loudness select all the track and go to Effects -> Normalize then again Effects -> Amplify put the slider value to -0.1 of what the value is shown.

I have a Peavey 8600 amplifier. It sounds great but when only operating vocals, in order to get the highs of your voice just right, the speakers put off a large amount of white noise. While singing, you...

There is not enough info here to provide a complete answer, but let me give you some background:

There will always be some hiss. This is due to general amplification where a small amount of noise is amplified along with the general signal. In most cases, the signal is strong enough to overpower any noise that is present (vocals in your example). This noise should not be that noticable in normal cases. If there is an automatic gain control in the line, this could account for it as with "silent" times, the gain will automatically be increased potentially to the degree where the noise is noticable.

Barring that scenerio, if the input signal is too low, the overall gain necessary to produce reasonable volume at the speakers will also be such that the noise is noticable. In order to track this down, please provide details about the current setup including:

1) Microphone make and model being used
2) Input being used on the mixer
3) Gain level being used for the mic channel
4) Gain level being used at the master level.

Speakers have hissing noise coming out of them

Hook a graphic equalizer between the piano and speakers, and turn down all sliders above 8 kHz. Since the highest note of a piano is 4186 Hz (4.186 kHz), you'll still hear all the notes but cut the hiss. If the hiss is coming from the speaker's power amplifier (in which case the equalizer won't help), turn down the speaker volume and turn up the piano volume. Live instruments generally need some doctoring to sound good through high-quality stereo equipment, as they only produce a limited range of frequencies whereas good speakers reproduce a lot more - including hiss.

this is a common problem and all you really can do is to turn the speakers off when you are not using them which is also good for your energy bill!!!

Logitech x530 hissing noise

I had the same problem for the longest time with my set of Logitech 540 5.1 speakers. Turns out the solution was pretty simple. All I did was open the Master Volume controller and mute the Microphone. Hissing went to zero. Sound is great now.
