  • There are 2 electric switches at the end of each water hose, going into the washer. When you push the start button, these switches open and allow water in the machine. They may not be working. Most front loaders have a test sheet uhder the top cover of the washer. Unplug the washer! ! ! ! from electrical outlet. Unscrew 4 to 6 screws around the top of the washer and slide back the top. if there is a test sheet it's here. Perform test. It is unlikely that 2 switches would go out at the same time, so it may be the control board. This is the board that has the cycle selection, and such, detergent., softener, water levels. This part can run $118 to 140 depending.

If the spec sheet is in the washer you have a shot at fixing it, if not its! harder. You may need a service call

Thanks for the info. A day before my vacation my washer did the same. I called a Frigidaire reccomended repair co. to look at my washer. they have tried/replaced 2-3 different parts and finally told me I need a new control borad, I decided to open the top and look at the control board. Well, I found out that somehow one of the electrical parts that plugs into the control board was loose. I plug it all the way in and its working without problems. Lesson leraned: Techs are like me, they "play" around until they find the problem. Now, I just wander if I really needed all those parts (new door lock system, and a new sensor)

My bmw 120i over heating so how can i fix it

Check the coolant at the radiator and the overflow. Add 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze if it is low. If that only temporarily fixes the problem, it means that there is a leak somewhere. Most likely the water pump will have to be replaced, but it could be a leaky radiator, radiator hose, or heater core hose. If the radiator is full of coolant, make sure the fan belt is on, and is tight, or that the electric fan comes on if it has an electric driven fan. If all of these items check out good, replace the thermostat.

My bmw deshboard showing light for radiator and car over heating

if your radiator light is on. means your water level in the radiaror has dropped 1/3 of it's fluids. get a gallon of 50/50 antifreeze(its already premixed) just add it into the radiator. for best results start car when it's cold start adding intill full

How to change radiator fluid?

There should be a drain on the bottom of the radiator or you could also pull the lower radiator hose. With the radiator open or hose off, run the vehichle while adding water from a water hose. When the coolant is out and only clear water is coming out, turn off the water and shut off the vehicle. Let everything drain out and close the radiator drain or reconnect the radiator hose. You can then add the recommended coolant through your fill hole. Once full, you need to start the engine with the cap off to let the trapped air escape. When the air is all bled from the system, top off your coolant and your done.

Water leaking out and not filling water bottle

difficult to judge.. the good news is that since water leaks means that the system is working, but before the collecting the condensed water into the bottle, it leaks outside.
there is no quick fix for that, you have to pull the machine out and open it to check where the leak comes from (perhaps it is a worn rubber hose that connects the condenser to the bottle, or it was disconnected due to rust ring). after all, you machine looks as it it survived the WWII :). just be careful to pull the electric socket from the outlet before you start.

Esi 68850 antiflood system has been activated

This means a water leak has occured into the base of the dishwasher where the pumps and motors are located. The system shuts off to prevent water damage to components and also prevent an electric safety hazard. The best solution is to find the source of leak and fix it. Ensure dishwasher water is turned off and the power is turned off at mains socket before you work on it.
check door seals and pump hoses for damage or wear and replace. If everything seems ok, then take out dishwasher from under kitchen bench aqnd shake it a few times on its base so that any water in the flood switch can dry out. Reconnect and check.

My Troy Bilt power washer (using Honda GCV160 engine) has no pressure coming from the pump. I checked the water flow, everything seems fine. I believe the pump needs oil added, however, I can't seem to...

I had a similar problem. Turns out I had left the hose disconnected and some sort of wasp built a paper type nest inside the washer tube that the hose connects to. I had to take the pump off and take apart and then cleaned it out with a screw driver. Not too easy to do but finally got it clean. Same thing happened with the hose.

So, if you haven't used it for awhile, check that there is no blockage in the hose or pump tubes. You might be able to blow it out with an air compressor.

Here we go the problem probably lies in the holding tank tub. So far found one baby sock, clumps of lint, latest underwire from daughters bra. Easy to work on machine. Will need a 2nd person for 1st part of repair. Have a small bucket ready,(I used a empty kitty litter container) 1)Disconnect electric cord, 2)Disconnect water hose's to machine. pull out drain.3)(Will need a 5/16th socket.) Pull out washer remove back panel.(2 screws) 4) Tilt back washer (towards control panel) 5) Remove bottom access panel (3 screws). 6) With a pair of plyers pull back metal clip on hose leading to pump. (this is where all water left in washer will come out.) 7) Remove clip on return hose from pump. 8) Pump is held on by 2 clips, push them back to remove pump. Once a water is drained you should be able to see any objects in the tub area, you can also now place the washer on it's side.WATER MAY STILL COME OUT HAVE A TOWEL OR 2 READY. Check pump for damage. Remove any/all debris (Used a set of hemostats.)(Rubber balls are suppost to be in there.DON'T DAMAGE THEM.) Once everything looks to be removed. Reverse steps reattach hoses, pump, etc. before replacing access panels Use the Express Wash Option to see if all works well. If it does, reattach access panels, and start washing!!
