Re: Power not on
First if you have move the computer recently, check that nothing has moved inside box and unplug cards if any including memery and replace again.
Check switch if working, does it turn on if you hold button? If so New switch required.
Most common problem: Power supply might be blown, see if the fan is running in the back of box when you start-up. Otherwise you will need to check a few things before you replace with new one. Check that the CPU fan inside box is running. Check that there isn't dust build up on fan stopping from running. Might need replacing. Try also taking out battery and starting up computer. If all else fails you will need to replace power supply with a 500watt or more power supply. If you have another computer on hand, you could try the power supply from that system as look as it has same connectors and try and run with that. If works then you know what to do. If nothing, the motherboard might be gone, or cpu even. Try also taking memory out and replacing. see if runs.
Before you give up, unplug all cables to hard drive, cd roms and DVD-rom and try to turn on

You replaced power supply and your made sure you plugged everything back into the motherboard snuggly and in it's proper place? If so it might be your motherboard is bad.
Make sure you have the new power supply turned on. Sometimes there's a O/I switch on the back of the power supply. Flip it and try to boot and see what happens. You might have another bad power supply. If so your motherboard might be burning them out.
Try removing the power cord for 30 seconds and press and hold the power button. After 30 seconds put the power cord back in and press the power button to see what happens.
Do your fans work when you press the power button? Do you hear any fans running?

Please first make sure that your adaptor is working.
Try to remove the battery and connect your laptop to the adaptor. Swith on. If nothing chages, then there is good chance that you have a motherboard related problem.
The first thing I would check would be the door switch. Dryers operate on 220 volts. Many brands split the 220v into 110v for controls and motor and 110v to the heater. There are also safety systems on many brands that won't allow the heater to come on if the fan motor is not running and blowing air throught he element to prevent overheating and dryer fires. If the door switch is ok, check the belt. If the belt is ok, it could be a problem with the motor start switch. The motor start swith is complicated fix and should be done by a professional. ALWAYS BE SURE TO DICONNECT THE POWER BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY REPAIRS.
check all the leads to the hard drive and check that the fan starts spinning when you switch it on if it dont start then the problem is the switch these do often go and can be easily replaced and they are not expensive i had the same problem and found that it was just the switch hope this solves your problem for you you can bypass the swith so that the computer comes on when you turn the plug on but when you shut down the computer this shuts everything down but the switches are cheap enough to buy if you have changed the power pack then the only thing it can be is switch .................................
