If the power and pcb both checked ok then the fan switch, fan motor wirings and light switch are to be checked. If there is a short or cut in the wirings then it will not let the fan and light to work as required.Get the fan switch and motor and light switch checked.-------- Also get the fuse checked and transformer checked. If any of the part is shorted or not receiving power, then its the cause of problem.Because there is power and pcb checked okj so all parts should receive power, if the power is not there on transformer or blower assembly or light switch then its the issue and that part has to be replaced.-------------- For which part is located where and basic parts disassembly.Click this link below. You can also order the parts if required:--------- --------------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Lamp never fires Unit goes right to cool/shutdown.

The ballast might have gone bad, you'll need to check the output voltage of it. In some projectors, the power supply/ballast are combined as one PCB instead of 2 separate boards.

No lights on AC unit but fan is running.

Possible that the processor has failed and it seems to give a through circuit to the fan which runs when power is switched on.
You can check the voltage on the processor IC and if absent then you must check the DC voltage on the circuit board. If there is no power then it is the failure of the power supply section and if not the processor is the suspect.

Carrier 2000ss will not turn on. Checked fuses and they are okay.

Inside the outside unit is a pcb with fault diagnosis lights on. It could be anything from a weak start capacitor to a compressor fault or even short of gas. See what lights are on and check the manual

Power to switch and turned on but no response from unit e.g. no fan or pump engaged. SMALLAIRE conditioner.

Check power in PCB. If yes, PCB is faulty. If you operate with remote and no response, try with another remote and conclude.

The power to the fan was turned off at the breaker box, i turned the power back on and now the light or fan won't turn on. i checked both remotes batteries and they are fine. any suggections

I would check all your switches first to make sure you're getting power to your light/fan. If they're all on, then remove the bottom part of the fan where you would splice the wires - and see if you're getting power. If so, then you could have a bad switch at the fixture. I'd try this first before going any further. Feel free to contact me back if this doesn't work. Best of luck to you! Jim

Hi. Due to the fact that the fans are not operational, this will confirm that the Main PCB has failed. This is the main power control board. It must be replaced, asap. The general location of this affected board will be just behind an access panel, near the compressor unit, or on the backside, mounted in the middle section of the unit.

Once the Main PCB board is replaced, the unit will return to its normal operating status.
