Question about Brother IntelliFax-4100e Fax

Customer with Brother Intelifax 4100e cannot "handshake" with our Savin 816 multifunction. The Savin is receiving hundreds of faxes daily, and is also used to scan to document management, etc. Are there any known issues?

your paper error message means you probably received a document that wasn't the size of paper in the paper tray ,try legal sized paper,to dump the job stuck in your faxes memory ,this

We have the Brother Intellifax 4100E. It was working fine up until last week. Then it started not receiving faxes. We can copy, and send faxes, and receive the confirmation. I have checked the mode button...

Try calling the fax machine from your mobile and see if it picks up or if anything shows up on the screen of the fax machine. Is it possible that you have plugged the fax machine into the wrong telephone line? Try sending a fax to your mobile phone and see that the number is correct.

I have a Brother InteliFax 4100e. I'm trying to send a fax to a number that is long distance. First I was getting a communication error when I tried to send it. Now I am getting a Busy/No response message....

Does it work all right for other numbers besides the one you mentioned? Sometimes the problem is at the other end. They might have a noisy phone line. Try sending the fax to another place and check the result.
