My advise -- replace it.
The problem is that by the time you add up the price of a new motherboard and the technican's labor
costs, it will exceed the replacement cost of a new printer. That is the sad truth about most inkjet printers.
They are generally cheap for a very good reason.
As to the motherboard replacement, you would have to contact Canon technical support for pricing. I
doubt that there is a generic replacement board.
