How to charge rc ignite helicopter

There is a male jack in the right side bottom of the remote. It looks like the end of a lap top charger only smaller. on the bottom of the heli there is a hole where it fits into. make sure it is in far enough, Not all the way! the heli must be off and the remote must be on. when it is charging the on-off light will blink. when it stops blinking it is charged. if it doesn't blink when you plug it into the heli try pushing the jack in a little farther. mine when in and stoped and i had to push just a little harder to seat it. Good Luck:)

The helicopter does not fully charge

You mention the controller, new batteries are good for the controller, but you need to have your heli batteries to be charging correctly. If you get new heli batteries, then Check your charger, it is probably not putting out the right voltage.

My Syma 107 will not lift off the ground. It lifts a little bit and thats it. Its only a week old.

r u charging from the controller? if so put luthium aa batterys in controller the ones you have in there now may not be giving a full charge, you r turning the controller on when charging heli right? wait for the chareer light to turn back to green from red will tell u charge is done. u must have a computer 2 have posted this so charge ur heli from computer wait 4 it 2 light up red (the usb plug) b sure heli is off when charging the little swith should b forward toward nose of heli if it still wont lift off after a good charge b sure the top part of the blades are tight on shaft, its the two screws just under the top blades 1 of the 2 must b tight on the shaft or it wont get enough power if it is slipping, if it still wont lift off u may have a bad li po battery never run it way down!! always stop flying when u c the heli start to not have enough power to hover, always stop and let batt cool dn then charge, then after charge try 2 wait 4 a little bit b 4 flying 2 let batt cool from charging, i know it is very hard 2 wait, hoppfully u have not fryed the battery if u still cant get it e mail me and i will help u get up and flying good luck the s 107 is my main bird i work on them 4 friends all the time if i had it 2 look @ u would b fly n n 5 mintues my e mail is pznuraz@yahoo.com

you should have charged your heli BEFORE 1st flight.......anyway,,plug computer end of usb charge
cord into computer......turn heli OFF....before you plug cord into heli look at computer end of cord,,
should be bright red light inside......now plug other end of cord into heli.....bright red light goes out!
when heli is fully charged bright light on computer end of cord comes back on......disconnect
heli right away.....if left on charge your battery could wear out....it takes about 50-60 minutes

It charged for 5 hours, and only flew 5 minutes

I'm afraid this is nothing unusual. Many helis run the same amount of time. Unless you have modified your battery setup you will be using nimh batteries and they are renowned for losing power and storage ability whilst not in use. You give almost no information so it's impossible to give any definite answers. How old is the battery? are you charging it with the correct charger? How fast did you run the heli? I ran two of the exact same helis only yesterday and I was lucky to get both of them off the ground three times before the batteries died and when Nimh die they just die very fast with little warning. Perhaps you could reply with more information as to the age of the battery etc as above. Just remember that batteries only have a limited life and with poor maintenance their lifecycle drops dramatically.
