Question about Acer Aspire 5610-4648 Notebook
Hi.. I bought an acer aspire 4520 laptop with AMD processor. The people who sold me have deleted the 10 GB space that was meant for D2D recovery. I didn't realise that till I got in need for it. The 10 GB space is now gone and it doesn't show up on system info. Now that i'm in another country I can't go for bargain. Can you please tell me how to get the D2D back or is there is any other way by reformatting. Over all I didn't get a d2d recovery disc from the company. Help Me Please.. Thank you :)
what do you mean your friend got a d2d disc? you mean the dvd? what i want is a partition that came from a harddisk. if anyone is kind to image the pqservice partition using rdrive image software. just PM me if you can help. thanks a lot..

Hi; Did have the same problem. Got a friend with D2D recovery still intact and made the bachup discs. This works just fine.

Send me an e-mail and I will send you the fix! If you can't downloadload it from the below link. I had the same problem. The mbr was replaced, you have to add RTMBR.BIN to the MBR and it will work again. As long as you can get on your desktop and run this bat file you will repair the D2D again. Took me an hour to learn what was wrong, It works 100% though.
I have the Aspire 5610Z with the 2GB 533 mhz memory Stock.
