You can always open the laptop and tighten any lose screws or components which may of have come loose by use of the trackpad. Note: This will may VOID any warranty you have on the laptop. If you have a warranty on this product, this may be covered under the warranty.

How to solve my hp6735b toche pad not working

Assuming the touchpad is not broken, some of these options may help.

Most people whose touchpad doesn't work is simply because they disabled it by accident and don't know how to reenable it. Look along the top of the keyboard on the function keys (F1, F2, F3, etc) for a symbol that looks like a touchpad and press it. If that doesn't work, hold down the Fn button and press it.

Some HP laptops (like mine) actually has a little dip in the pad with a little light that displays the touchpad is disabled. Double tapping in that little "dip" will reenable the touchpad.

Usb port on presario F500 quit working, they are seen by device manager but will not reconize a flashdrive when incerted, a mouse or any thing else. Using win 7,64 bit t3500 cpu.

This should be pretty easy to fix. I have seen this many times before. Here's what to do:

Go into device manager and expand 'universal serial bus controllers'.

Start at the very bottom, and start deleting the usb root hubs one by one. You will lose your touchpad control at some point, as the touchpad is actually a usb device. One of thwo things will happen.

1. The usb hubs will automatically be re-detected and re-installed.
2. You will just lose touchpad control after deleting one of the root hubs. If this happens, then shut down using the power button, and restart. Th usb hubs will be reinstalled once you log back into windows. Please let me know if this doesn't fix it.

Left click on touchpad sunk in

These laptops use an active membrane keyboard. The chances are that the membrane has failed. Sorry but you cannot replace the membrane, you must replace the entire keyboard. If the laptop is still under warranty, you may find that Dell will supply a laptop for you to use until yours is repaired or replaced. A word of warning. Make a backup copy of EVERYTHING you want to keep from this laptop. If Dell decide to replace the entire laptop, you will not be able to retrieve this information.

My keyboard keeps writing out of order - putting words infront of stuff i have previously typed - toshiba Satellite laptop

Does the laptop have a touchpad below the keyboard?
Usually the hand position when you type is such, that it's very easy to involuntarily lighlty touch the touchpad with the base of your thumb, usually the right one, when you move the hand over the touchpad, mostly in the up-left direction.
This causes the cursor to move to some place up and to the left, resulting in the next characters you type being put in that place :)
Try to keep your hands a little bit more above the touchpad when you type. Also, many touchpad drivers have settings for ignoring light touches/drags, try looking into these settings in your pointing device properties.
