Glad to HELP YOU!

Yeah, I know... It's an annoying thing that HP pop-up.
All you have to do is to UNINSTALL that feature.
Go START > CONTROL PANEL > ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and select it from there and click UNINSTALL.
For a better done job I'd suggest you to download, to install and to use a great software (FREE!) called REVO UNINSTALLER. You can have it from HERE. It will also clean up the REGISTRY EDITOR for you once the uninstall is finished.

GOOD LUCK!

"I ALREADY UNINSTALLED THE HP SOLUTION CENTER BUT IT CAME BACK AS THE ALL-IN-ONE HELP CENTER." = Well, mate, instead of giving a bad rating you should have been post ALL DETAILS about what you have done to get rid of that HP Solution Center...! You did not specified that you uninstalled it!
Anyway... use that Revo Uninstaller and go at TOOLS > AUTORUN MANAGER and disable that HP Solutions Center to be loaded at STARTUP.

    taramarsh,
Sorry, I did not mean to offend you and I appologize for not being more complete. First time I ever used this site. Also, very frustrated with Hewlit Packard for refusing to help with the problem. I eventually uninstalled the printer & re-installed it. So far, so good. Thank you for your help!!

I am unable to write from my DVD-RW drive on to a CD-R. It says it burning till its about 80% complete and then it just finishes. But when I see the CD, its blank. BTW, I have an HP dv6846TX laptop

Hi,
Open RUN from the start menu and type DEVMGMT.MSC, this will open the device manager window. There you can able to view the cd/dvd drives. Click on that + symbol and select the below driver. Right click and select UN-INSTALL. Now reboot your Lap and check whether this issue continues or not. If still continuing you need to install a new driver from the below site.

Please let me know whether you can able to solve this or not.

Volume pop up in the middle of my screen

no photos of said window presented? i cant see them?
must be OSD? the monitor brain on screen display (menu)?
even with the DVI cable pulled?
only a monitor stated, w1907, no PC
some monitors have button lock
read the manual ?oops HP deleted it...
it tells you to push the menu key on the monitor for 10 seconds
and it unlocks. (4 buttons right side left button is MENU)
doom?
that power deal sounds super bad, like the power supply is bad.
if the monitor fails by its self not plugged it to a PC
then the monitors is bad.
try a reset on it? ( power off for 1hr, or off then plug in with power button held? or power on with menu held (wild guesses but common practice)
ok found your manual page 4-8 shows menu page advanced
list line in list factory reset.
but if the keys are dead, and power lamp failing
the power supply is no good or worse. worse is always possible.
and expensive

ever see the support page, read the guides
?

its over 10 years old now. 2007?
walmart has larger one for $50
cheaper that parts or repair this.... vastly

Ipod shows sad face

Aye, my friend had this exact problem before i came along :-)

First: Reset your iPod by quickly moving the lock to lock position then back to unlock position, then hold the menu and center button down till the apple logo comes up. Then you can release the menu and center buttons.

Second: Plug your iPod into a power supply, such as the apple AC adapter. Wait till it shows that its charging. Once it shows that, unplug it, reset your iPod once more, then plug back in.

Third: Keep your iPod plugged in after the second reset for about 15-20 minutes. Come back, unplug it, and use it and see if it continues. If still continuing, plug it back in till its fully charged, or the equivalent.

After that, If that doesnt fix it, try contacting Apple Support here: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/.

Hope I helped!

The soluntion center popup screen and the windows installer screen pop up every few minutes. I can't find my software that came with the printer. And I can't find the file on my computer either. It's...

Hi

This is nothing but a windows installer problem. We need to remove the program "HP solution center" from windows installer menu using windows install cleanup utility.

Download windows install cleanup utility from below link.

http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe

Install it, after installation Click start -->all programs -->windows install cleanup.

Remove the HP solution center from it and then click OK. Now you will never see Solution center popping up with Windows installer.

Paper Jam

Remove all the paper from the paper tray so that nothing gets sucked up in there while you're working. Hit the cancel button a few times until the screen clears itself and goes back to the "Print", "Copy", "Scan" option screen.

On your computer, if the printer option screen is up (depending on what kind of computer you have, a small screen might pop up to tell you the print progress), hit cancel or clear on any of the lines that say "Paper jam", if there are any.

The next time you print something, only put as many pieces of paper in the feed as you need to print. This should eliminate a lot of the chance of actually getting a paper jam.

Please respond again if this didn't help. I'm not sitting in front of my own computer right now, so I might not be following the same steps that I usually take.

HP Product Registration pop-up

This is caused by an entry in the Task Scheduler. To get rid of it, you need to be logged on with Administrator priveleges, then do the following:
1. Click Start, type the following in the search field and press enter: Task Scheduler
2. Cllick Continue to confirm permission.
3. Click Task Scheduler Library in the Left column.
4. Click on any of the following in the center column:
a. InternetService Offers (If your pop-up is regarding the internet)
b. Registration (If your pop-up is regarding registering your PC)
c. Service Plan (If your pop-up is regarding warrenty)
d. Extended Service (If your pop-up is regarding extended service plans)

BTW, notice that the idiot that programed these entries set them to trigger every 30 minutes, indefinatly.

Hope this helps.
