Question about Amcor Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

I purchased an Amcoraire split system unit for my 2 story garage. Licensced electrician did the wiring and licensed HVAC co. installed the 2 indoor units and outside unit. Outdoor unit is Model # AOM 243 HX 24000 BTU Indoor units are both Model #AWM123 HX, 12000 BTU each When I turn the unit on, it runs for about 60 seconds and then I get an error code on the inside wall unit that says P7. My manual says this has something to do with voltage. I had the power company come out and they show the voltage range to be with-in their limits at about 248. I can't ever get through to the Amcor phone support and my HVAC guy is out of ideas. Help

Since the manual says the error code has something to do with voltage it means the voltage is either too high or too low. And as the electric company says the voltage is within limits the the error is as a result of the voltage fluctuating. All you have to do is get a voltage regulator about 5000watts each for the units and the error problems should cease.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Have model ASTB24LDC/AOTS24LDC Inverter Fujitsu split system. As of Thursday 11th Nov, unit stopped working. Won't respond with remote. An electrician came to test it this morning, says there is power to...

I have same problem like yours to my newlyinstalled Fujitsu multi-split system (the first time use since system installed1 week ago). I rang the electrician whodid the installation; he said it must be the units themselves nothing to dowith electricity. Okay, then I rang Fujitsu and their local service agent. Theysuggested me to switch off C/B for an hour to reset the units. I followed theinstruction but the indoor units still did not respond to remote control...

It simply looks like no power supply to indoor units (they are hard-wired tothe outdoor unit). So I used a multi-meter to test the power terminals of indoorunits (Danger! If you have no idea about this, don't even try! ): it seemed nopower supply even C/B is on. I turned to the isolator which next to the outdoorunit. The isolator was making arcing noise when I switched it on and off. Theindoor units suddenly turned on for few minutes then died again. So I figuredout the problem is that crooked isolator. I called the unhappy electricianto replace the isolator. End story....
I hope my experience will give a littlehelp to you...

We purchased a Amcor Amcoraire Mini Split Unit ? 12000BTU However the Power Transformer Input: AC115-120v 60hz Output: 10.5v 550mA isn't working as per the installer and we can't seem to find it...

Hi, this is a 1-ton cooling unit per your numbers. If they just installed it and the line side (120 volts) is good but nothing on the secondary low voltage side, they should have replaced the transformer themselves? If it is a split system, it is normally on all splits to be located in the indoor unit control section. I can't tell you exactly, but look where the 120 volts come into the indoor unit and the high voltage wiring should be connected to it then stepped down to lower voltage. It may have a fuse on the circuit board that they blew when installing it. If you are not familar with electrical, I wouldn't attempt to make these repairs. You can look for a small plug in type fuse to see if it blew, it looks like one on your automobile. I would call this installer out and its there job to do this!! These transformers look different, there not all the same, but will have a black and white wire coming in, and several colored wires coming out for low voltage. It will be in the indoor unit. Keep me posted on what you find or if you need more help. How long ago was the unit installed?

Hello im trying to trouble shoot two split systems the electrical wires were crossed for the two units I fixed it the compressors wont come on, wall unit says e7? This is on the Amcoraire ac split systems.

E7 indicates an "External Feedback Problem" which sounds like a communication problem. I believe there is a sensor cable that runs from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit also. Check that all cables are properly run to the appropriate unit and check all connections for tightness. Here is the link to a manual that includes installation and wiring instructions.

Blower fan runs at one speed - very low

There is a sensor on the indoor coil that needs to reach a certain temp before the fan speed will increase. Sounds like the unit is undercharged if the sensor isn't reaching the temp it needs to.
