My Kenmore 70 series wahing machine will not cut off the water no matter what selection of load size I use. I took off the hose to the pressure sensor(load size) and there is water in the hose. I blow into the pressure sensor and I hear it click. I turned on the machine and blew into the pressure sensor and the water cut off. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The water level is controlled by a pressure switch connected to a long rubber hose that goes inside the tub. If the switch is defective or if the pressure hose is blocked the machine may under-fill.
Check also inlet hose and water pressure from the house.
Either could you have a bad water valve or bad timer. If the water is over flowing when you start it and not shuting off you could have a bad pressure switch or bad air hose from tub.
has someone done work inside the 'head' of this machine or on the body of it in recent time? There is a hose that actuates the level of the water and I believe this has become dislodged by some one/thing. If you can open the head, two screws on either end of that, pull forward and up, you will see underneath there a tube. Is it attached to the end of a 'bell' for lack of a better description? If it is, it may be dislocated off the tub itself. now to take the body off, simply release the clips on either side, and pull the cabinet towards you. see where the tube goes and attaches to the tub. It's probably off there if you have gotten this far. Just plug it back onto that nipple and you should be ok :) Replace the cabinet in opposite order, and there it is
The washer water level is controlled by a pressure switch behind the load level selector knob inside the operator console. Often what appears to a major problem turns out to be something minor. Since you moved recently, the vibration from moving the washer may have caused the small plastic air hose on the pressure switch to fall off. Read through the link provided and let me know if you have any questions. I hope this helps you.
turn off water valves at wall, disconnect the supply hoses from the washer. where the hoses connect to the washer, there is usually a stainless steel screen/strainer inline on both the hot and cold inlet. corrosion on the cold side is pretty common. Menards, Lowes Home Depot stores sell the replacment screeens.
you probably have a tiny hole in the hose that leads to the pressure switch. you can pull the hose off and see if youcan locate the hole and if the hole is close to one of the ends you can just cut that section off but if it is in the middle you will need to replace the hose
if the water was overflowing from the top of the tub it sounds like the pressure hose came loose. tilt the control panel back and you will prob see the hose that connects to the left side (where you adjust the water level) has come loose. cut about 1/4 inch off of it and re-connect it.
most likely a water pressure issue try adj shut off valve off slowly until noise stops if water flow not enough ckd fill screens in back of valve for sediment and trash
