Question about Frigidaire FPES3085KF Stainless Steel Electric Range

Open Question

I purchased a Frigidaire FPES3085KF. The second you turn the stove top on (as well as the oven) the fan comes on and does not turn off until a good 45 minutes or so after you turn the stove off. Is it normal for the fan to come on while cooking on the stove top? It is extremely annoying, the fan blows directly in your face. The manufacturer finds this operation normal and states that no other complaints have been heard about the fan, but I find it hard to believe that anyone cooking on this stove doesnt find it difficult to cook on.

SOURCE: convection cooking

Convection ovens are great for roasting!
I cooked a 15 lb  stuffed turkey in 2 hours in mine. And it was juicy and fab!
My auto degree set for convection  is 325.
I have a Jenn Air wall oven, so I don't know, it might be different for different brand.
Roast or bird should be in the middle of the oven. THe air has to circulate well to get best results.
I believe rule of thumb is a convection oven takes 1/2 LESS time than conventional.
Hope this helps.

I have a frigidaire ffef3017zw 30" freestanding electric range and the stove top and the oven wont heat. The lights come on but nothing works.

Good Afternoon Larz, thank you for your post!
From the information you have provided the cooktop and oven on your Frigidaire range, FFEF3017ZW, are not working. This could be an internal issue with your control panel, a wiring harness, or the terminal black. Since it could be an issue with the electrical component, I would suggest having a professional technician out for a proper diagnosis. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases or improper disassembly of the range. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

My frigidaire stove made a loud pop while oven was on and then lost power....stove top elements working stove clock not working tested fuse, and changed it still not working

Thank you for your post, friend!

I understand that your Frigidaire range made a loud pop while in operation and lost power. I noticed you stated that the stove top is working and you have changed out the control board but the oven is not working. It could be a possibility that your terminal block or wiring harness has shorted. I would recommend contacting a professional technician to come out and perform a diagnosis and repair on your range. This will help to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

My frigidaire microwave fan turned on by it self. Won't turn off. Blowing air above Microwave

Try unplugging it for a few seconds or turning off the circut breaker to it. This usually resets the unit.

Replacing hidden element frigadaire oven fpes3085kf

There are normally two options for this. There's either an access panel at the bottom of the oven, or a panel underneath the oven. It's best to have a certified technician do it, to be sure that it's accessed without hurting the range.

Clock works fine, but surface elements do not light up or heat.

it sounds like you are only getting 110 volts to the stove.
have someone that knows a little about your breaker box. check the breakers
you may only need to wire it right or may need to add another breaker.
should be an relatively cheap fix.
good luck remember electricity bites!
