Question about Cell Phones
Hi, you will need both the vin and serial number of the radio t get the code, Write them down.
Locate your VIN number at the base of the front window, driver side. If you can't read your VIN off the window, you will have it on your proof of insurance and title as well. Write it down.
Locate your manufacture's toll free Customer Service number and call them. I called Mitsubishi at 1-888-MITSU2009 to get my code and they were very helpful and easy to work with. Some other manufacture's 800 numbers include:
Acura 1-800-382-2238, Audi 1-800-367-2837, BMW 1-800-831-1117, GMC 1-800-462-8782, Honda 1-800-999-1009, Isuzu 1-800-255-6727, Mazda 1-800-222-5500, Nissan 1-800-647-7263, Saab 1-800-582-7222, Saturn 1-800-553-6000, Toyota 1-800-311-4331, Volvo 1-800-458-1552.

At Fixya.com we have no access to the secure data base at the BMW owner data storage server to supply the radio security code. Your radio's security code is stored in a factory data base and is unique to the VIN of the car and radio serial number, you can either ask the local BMW dealer to look the code up for you on the factory conmputer link that all BMW dealers have or you can use one of the on-line services such as the one below, before you pay for the service on-line call your local dealer and ask if they will look up the radio code for you free of charge. One last note, if you are the original owner of the car you were given this radio security code with the new car paperwork, it wouild have been on a small card like a credit card.
Here is one of the on-line radio code suppliers that claim they can get your radio security code for you.
