I have an acer 5315. I had to crash it a couple weeks ago. and when we got everything put back on the eRecovery has not finished processing its stuck at 13/14 what should i do to get rid of it

1. Power on the machine.
2. At the ACER BIOS screen, hold the "Alt" key and press the "F10" key simultaneously to start Acer eRecovery. The window of opportunity is very small, so this may take a few attempts.
3. Once eRecovery has loaded, click "Restore to Factory Default Settings" (the password is six zeros, 0.0.0.0.0.0.).
4. Click "OK" to continue.
5. From here, the eRecovery process will update all the data on the C: drive and restore the factory image (approximately 10 minutes).
6. Once eRecovery has run, press "OK" to reboot unit.
OR
1. Reboot, and press F8.
2. Select Repair.
3. Select Reinstall Windows and follow prompts.

Running System Recovery from Windows
1. Click Start>All Programs>Acer Empowering Technology.
2. Select Acer eRecovery Management.
3. Select Restore (bottom of eRecovery screen).
4. Select Restore system to factory default (the password is six zeros, 0.0.0.0.0.0.).
5. Select Yes then Next, the system will reboot and start the recovery.
erecovery password Acer has a software named eRecovery. This software dedicated to their customers in order to get Windows OS recovery process a lot more easier and faster even a kid able to do it.
Acer created a hidden partition labeled PQSERVICE
You wouldn't able to see this partition in Windows explorer. If you want to see this partition existance, right-click My Computer -> Manage -> Disk Management
PQSERVICE partition contain an image of Windows OS (XP/Vista/Seven) and this partition will be load to recover anytime when your Windows OS crashed, unstable, or infected by virus.
By pressing ALT+F10 before entering Windows boot process, you will access Acer eRecovery menu and asked the location where the backup will restore (ussually C: Drive). After few simple clicks (as easy as click Next) you will have your Windows back as 'factory default' state (State when you bought your Acer machine)
But how if there are password required for eRecovery? The windows is crashed and unfortunately... you don't know the password?

1. Power on the machine 2. At the white ACER BIOS screen, hold the Alt key and press the F10 key simultaneously to start Acer eRecovery 3. Once eRecovery has loaded, click Restore to Factory Default Settings 4. Click OK to continue 5. From here, the eRecovery process will update all the data on the C: drive and restore a fully functional factory image (approximately 10 minutes). 6. Once eRecovery has run, press OK to reboot unit
If this wont work you need to use the recovery cd of your system. Take note that if you do the reocvery process all files will be deleted and the system will go back to default or factory state.
Restore and recovery
The restore and recovery features allow you to restore or recover the system
from a factory default image, from a user created image, or from previously
created CD and DVD backups. You can also reinstall applications and drivers for
your Acer system.
1 Press + or select Acer eRecovery Management from the
Empowering Technology toolbar to start Acer eRecovery Management.
2 Switch to the restore and recovery page by selecting the Restore button.
3 Select the backup point you would like to restore from. You can also
choose to recover the system from a factory default image, recover from a
previously created CD/DVD or reinstall applications and drivers.
4 Follow the instructions on screen to complete the process.
Locate the Alt key, to the left of the space bar, and F10, on the top row of keys.
Power the system on.
When the system is powered on, tap the Alt and F10 keys together at the same time when the Acer splash screen appears. It should state "Please wait a moment..." with the Acer logo in the upper left hand corner.
At the eRecovery Management menu it will ask you how to restore.
Click on the restore option you would like to use.
