Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
This means that their is a problem with the main board, CPU, or GPU. Usually has to due with the fact that the PS3 creates so much heat that the soldier on the board needs to be re-flowed. Check craigslist to see if anyone in your area can reflow the board. Usually they charge about $50. If not I would recommend that you try to replace the hard drive or contact customer service for more options. Please note if you have an extended warranty do not do anything except take the unit into the warranty provider.
