The door switch is bad you can pull it out of the door perimeter and bypass it to test its operation, sometimes these switches get sticky from food/juice,etc and stick part way open and you can spray wd40 into the plunger and unstick them, sometimes, not always

I have a Frigidaire Gallery and the control panel will not work, the fridge won't cool and the freezer will not freeze and all it does is makes a beeping sound and the interior lights come on..

Unplug it for ten or fifteen minutes. Plug it back in and see what happens. The capacitors need that time to discharge in the electronics so it can reset. If this fails the panel may be fried and may possibly be covered by warranty.

Your nicely detailed and well worded question gives all the clues needed to suspect that the
compressor motor is effectively dead. What's happening is that the motor (correctly) receives input
from the control circuitry of the frig to turn on (to cool the interior of the frig) - it turns on, quickly
overheats (within a minute or two), and then the motor's thermal shutoff kills the overheating
motor (with a "click"). Then the motor cools for awhile, the thermal cutoff eventually resets
and allows current to the motor, which tries to run again, but quickly overheats again, etc.

Power on Interior lights on refrigerator does not operate not cool

The interior lamps fail to light up as the swittch is faulty , so replace teh door switch if a contact cleaning wont help.
Now the cooling is related to many issues, so shut off fridge to allow time of 5 hours, The restart , if the fridge does not cool , the compressor , gas pressure is done and must be checked. If cooling is present then check if the auto defrost timer/thermostat is faulty as the fridge might stop cooling after 12 hours.

I'm going to make my first bet on the switch. Usually, this is a plunger unit on the doorframe along the line with the hinges. It is either stuck or burned out. Usually, you can dig the switch out with a small screwdriver. If the switch has only two wires going to it, you can test by shorting out the two wires to each other. This can be done with a paper clip and then taping it up. Since there is power running through these lines, it is suggested that you unplug your unit before attempting any of this. Your fridge should be unplugged for at least 5 minutes before re-connecting. If more than two wires are involved, you can still connect them all together. Sometimes, the fan is shut by a switch when the door is opened. That would be the connection for another wire. If this is the case, carefully note which wires go where before you begin.
