Question about Televison & Video
Small dots in picture/ screen are not because of bad Lamp, in fact it is a chip called DMD Chip that is failing in tv, DMD Chip is part of light engine that generate an image and lamp is back light source of that light engine to project that image on tv front screen.
Complete light engine will be replaced to solve the issue and it is job of qualified tv repairman. Please call local tv repair shop for repair estimate.
