Question about Sk Hand Tools SK 41654 24Inch Indexing Flex Head Handle

Suddenly my PC can't display sound . When I use "DirectX Diagnotic Tool" to test, It displays "DirectSound test results: Failure at step 19 (User verification of software): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)". Please help me!

i had the same problem. First, try downloading any patches that maybe be new, they can help.
then once in the game menu, go to the options and decrease the visual effects and graphics. they made this 2nd game to run in defalt mode with HIGH graphic computers, but if you just lower things to 800x600 and then set things to low, the gaame should run better, wont be perfect, but you will be able to play it with out getting mad at it..lol

Please try the following

1) Go to www.devicedoctor.com and download and install the software
2) Load up the program and then click on 'begin scan'
3) This will scan and hopefully pick up the missing drivers for your sound
4) Click on download for the sound drivers
5) Install the drivers and enjoy

Hi,
Run the dell diagnostics on the sound card .
1. Restart your computer
2. tap on the f12 key slowly five times
3. select the option Boot to utility partision or diagnostics
4.select dell 32 bit diagnostics
5. Select customer test and test sound

If the test pass, try system restore , probably the problem is with the sound card drivers

if the sound test fails , shutdown the system again and remove the cmos battery and start the system without it once.Check sound again .

It sounds like you may need to Update the Drivers. If not you may have a Bad Sound Card.

No sound!


Did you get the driver from HP? Here is a link to install (or download) the driver for your system. It may be beneficial to download it to your computer in case you need it again.
