Actually I made a follow just last night to robotek (Australia). Unfortunately nothing to report. You might be interested to view yourself the discussion and pls feel free to join the Lounge discussion here on a possible source of an Australian version of the SatNav/TV. Incidentally, roboteks email address is likewise posted there should you wish to send him additional information/request.

take the nav disc out and reinsert it to let the system reset its self. didnt need to disconnect battery to change spark plugs!!

no it cant, i have the same thing and have been down that path. it requires navigation DVD's of NZ maps which are proprietary to that japanese gps system and they do not exist
