You don't list the make of your sander, the model number doesn't tell my what type of sander this is. you can contact me and let me know the brand and then perhaps I can help you.

Could you please tell me what sandpaper goes on the Mouse sander/polisher model # MS500

ok this easy go to the hardware store and ask for the sandpaper to fit your sander, black & decker make sandpaper specifically for that sander. now depending what job you want to do will determin what grade you want sand paper works like this the higher the number on the paper the finer it is so for example 80 is very coarse you would use that for eg stripping thick paint on a door but 2000 is very fine and is used for eg sanding varnish between coats. ok hope that helps let me know how you go.

How do you change paper on a black & decker finishing sander 7404-04

At both ends of the bottom pad, there are metal fittings that have a rectangular hole in the middle of them. Take a regular head screwdriver and put the tip in the hole and carefully but firmly lift up and hold while at the same time pushing the narrow edge of the 1/3 sheet sandpaper up under the metal piece which kind of looks like a C on its edge. Then let down the metal piece with the screwdriver and that edge of the sand paper should be held in place. Do the same thing for the other end of the sandpaper, making sure to pull the sandpaper sheet tight against the rubber pad.

Sandpaper sliding off

there isnt enough tension on the belt, hence the side to side movement. keep tightening the spring until it stops
